Ability to split screen

Fellow members, I have just moved over from using Waze and I note that on my Samsung Note 9 I am unable to split screen and run the app. This is a feature I had for waze and was very useful and the other half screen I could use for any other app I needed. Does anyone know if this is an issue or a design logic for the app to ensure it is always full screen? I thank u in advance for your time.

    Welcome to the Community! I suppose you're using the Go Mobile App? The split-screen feature is not supported with the app but some of the users confirmed here on the Community that enabling the developer option makes it usable with split-screen ability, see here.

    Thanks, tried but no joy. Will keep trying but if it can be supported in the future that would be wonderful. I say this in light of screens getting larger and the ability to multitask is become the norm.
