    Hi @12WDVhu8_1,

I just tried installing TomTom Home on Windows 10 and it worked fine.

That file is actually a .lnk (short for link) not a .ink and it's a Windows shortcut file so not entirely sure what your problem is.

What version of TomTom Home were you installing (latest is

If you navigate to the C:\users\admin\appdata\local\temp folder does the file TempTTALLink.lnk exist?

If you right click on the file and select "Properties", what is the "Target" set to? It should be something like "C:\Program Files\TomTom HOME\TTHOMERunner.exe".

If it is, does the TTHOMERunner.exe file exist in the "C:\Program Files\TomTom HOME" folder?

Also what version of Windows 10 are you running (Settings->System->About)?

There is no /app data/local/temp folder and thus no tempttallink.lnk file.

I am running windows 1 pro ver 1903.

    Hi @12WDVhu8_1,

Apologies the appdata folder is hidden - you will have one.

Change the Windows Exporer settings (Open Explorer, click on the "View" tab and tick the Hidden items box to show hidden folders)
