I currently have a Rider 2 and I am looking to upgrade to a Rider 550. I have existing RAM mounts on both bikes.
Question is: Exactly which components will I need to change? I know I need to change the Sat Nav docking mount but what about the docking mount to RAM adapter?

The Rider 550 comes with a new RAM Mount kit.
You need to use the new power cable and order a extra power cable for bike #2.
You can reuse the 1inch bal and clamp on your bike.
Now is possible to Disconnect the mount and reconnect it on bike #2.
Of course you can also buy a second mount and RAM base plate for bike #2.

Having ordered the device I have found out that the RAM base plate for the Rider 2 mount and the Rider 550 mount have the same screws and screw positions as each other meaning that all I need to purchase is a second mount and cable as @RoadRider said. :-)2
