Is it possible to backup my satnav data to a pc and,if so, how?
I cannot use the TomTom connect option due to a problem with my email.
So I want to back up to a pc , perform a satnav reset and then restore the data.

Hi
The "MyPlaces" are stored in your personal MyDrive Cloud.
You can´t transfer it to another account if you change your Mailadress.
But you can convert it to Poi (*.ov2 files)
How to do that look here:

Hi
@Bob Moore
Unlike the early NAV2 Devices the NAV3 NAV4 & NAV5 (Wi-Fi) devices use a secure Networking system... The user has NO access to the Operating System....
All the Data is stored on your Account on the Tomtom Cloud
Here... https://mydrive.tomtom.com/
Many users have asked for the facility to backup their MyPlaces to a PC
The MyDrive Route planner allows you to download your data from the Tomtom Cloud

Unfortunately my email provider ceased.
I therefore cannot backup or restore as I cannot login and there is no way to use an alternative email address.
I think my only option is a factory reset but I would like to store my data and then reinstate it.0 -
