However, if I have no data (no mobile signal / no WiFi) I cannot start the app and get the following message and the option to “Continue”

Pressing ‘Continue’ does nothing until I get a signal.
How do I resolve this?

Welcome to the Community! I hope you have the active subscription on your account which you used to login on the App. The App should only check once for the status of the subscription but I'll check this behavior with our team and post back here.

TomTom Go app version 2.0.7
1 month subscription.
Started 23 April.
I keep my phone on aeroplane mode for longer battery time.
I don't need mobile signal much.
Everyday it says my subscription has ended when it has not.
The app Settings > Subscriptions has 1 month ticked and
Google Play shows my 1 month subscription is active.
To make your app work, before leaving home,
I have to turn aeroplane mode off for maybe 10 secs.
I thought the app would last all day but today it lasted few hours
then it said subscription has ended again.
Got annoyed and wrote this bug report.
Welcome to the Community! Thank you for reporting this. I would like you to know that this issue has been worked upon with high priority and we'll release this with the newest version as soon as possible. I'll post back here once there's an update.

I have used it 2 times since the 28 May update and there
has been no trial / subscription has ended bug when on aeroplane mode.

May be an issue that is being caused by the current Covid 19 situation and many working from home and things taking longer to be updated than usual.
Hopefully @lampard might be able to look at your account and resolve it for you. Keep an eye out here..
