Connected my Go 6000 for an update and it has ended up in a continual cycle of trying to restore the device. The display reaches the 100% of restore and then when the device reboots it loads to about 50% on the display loading line and remains there for about a minute. It then returns to the connect device screen showing an exclamation mark on the device icon and a cross on the PC icon. During this period the PC states that it is unable to connect to the internet yet the PC is connected! The PC then commences to restore the device again from scratch.

Hi
@Clanger
Welcome to the site....
The GO 6000 is a NAV4 Device with 8GB of On-Board Memory... The Full Europe map size is now 9GB+ and exceeds the device memory, you will need to install a 16GB or 32GB (Max size) Class10 Micro SDHC Memory card....
@VikramK or @lampard the Forum Moderators should pick this up and check for any live Map subscriptions and if required will allocate a small Map to act as a keeper

Or... Instead of UN-installing & RE-installing MyDrive Connect
I find deleting the "HOME3" and the "MyDrive Connect" folders in the MyDrive Connect Program just as effective for giving MyDrive Connect a CPR...

Thanks @YamFazMan
I'm on a Mac but have found the two folders you mentioned (Home3 and MyDriveConnect) and deleted them. Hurrah.. that's done the trick after a couple of frustrating weeks I've updated it successfully.
Many thanks for the advice.
On a Mac....
The "HOME3" and the "MyDrive Connect" folders are located here...
