Why is my Tom Tom 450 rider not getting any more map up-dates
I am being told via Email that my devise will no longer get map up-dates ? is this true.
I only purchased this model for the lifetime maps, I did not realise or was not informed that the lifetime was that of a mayfly
can you confirm if this is the case please or if I am getting dodgy mails

Check your device by selecting the first 2 characters of your units serial number and you will be advised if your unit is no longer being supported. However if you unit was sold with Lifetime maps then Tomtom have stated that all such units are still being supplied with map updates even if the unit has been declare obsolete. See the second link below.
