Can you help me in deciding which unit would be best please? I am a senior who does not have a smart phone. I used my current GPS infrequently and was pleased with its function.
Thank you for any assistance you can give.

No smartphone? Premium model, you have traffic and radars without needing smartphone. Cheaper modrld need smartphone for having traffic and radars!5

Hi @TeddySchip
Whilst @miketorcy ‘’s post is correct I think the Premium models are not sold in the USA. Looking at the models advertised in the US by TomTom I don’t think they have the inbuilt Mobile Sim that the Premium models do. I think the USA models all require the use of a Smartphone to connect to the Tomtom servers to get the Traffic data etc. Without this data whilst the devices will route you from A to B they will not get the Traffic data etc to recommend rerouting to cope with Traffic holdups etc without connecting via a Smartphone.

I'd go for the Via 1525M model. It's an older (Nav3) model but has lifetime maps and you can add custom pois and bmps to the device. Not possible with the Go Supreme or Comfort.5

I'm sorry. I should have mentioned that I am in the USA. The models recommended in the initial e-mail are the Go Supreme, Go Comfort and Go Via 1525M, both in the 5" and 6" screens. Any opinions? Thank you for your assistance.0
