I've received an email about Via 130 maps having ended from 2018. That's very strange, because I downloaded the latest fee maps a couple of weeks about - obviously in 2020. It suggests I buy a new TomTom. It doesn't make sense, so I'm wondering if it's genuine. Seeing as I have free updates for life for the Via 130. I'm confused.

Via 130 units are listed as end of life however Tomtom have honoured lifetime Map updates for those units that were sold with that offer. It would appear that a general email has been issued, as I have received for an old unit I have, but has not been targeted to just those that do not have the lifetime offer.
