I've had my GO 5200 for about a year now, but I've never been able to connect it to my WiFi. It finds the available networks, but when I try and connect it, it says "connecting", then "obtaining IP address", then "saved". and keeps cycling through these options. It does this even when I have it right next to the router (and my wifi connection on other devices is fine elsewhere in the house). What am I doing wrong?

But the other thing to do if you have a PC or Mac computer is to install MyDriveConnect on the computer. Connect the 5200/6200 to the computer with a USB cable and make sure MyDriveConnect is running. When you do that the TomTom will use the internet connection from your PC and talk via USB. You still do everything on the TomTom's screen but you don't need WiFi that way.
