Hi,
I have been trying to update my device but have been unable to do so. TomTom Home just does not download the updates. It has been blocked on this for hours:

TomTom Home has access to the internet and there is no issue of connection to the servers.
Please can you help?

Welcome to the community!
The problem is related to an ongoing issues which is currently being investigated by the team.
As a work around could you try the following -
The issue could be caused by special characters in the Windows User name (accents/spaces/umlauts).
If yes, then a possible workaround is to create a new Windows profile, install TomTom HOME on it and try to update:
Steps-
-- Uninstall TomTom HOME completely.
-- Go to Control Panel > User Accounts > Give other users access to this computer > Add and then create a new account (Make sure that this new account does not have any accents/spaces/umlauts)
-- Log out of the computer and log in with the newly created user account.
-- Download TomTom HOME from the website.
-- Now try to update the device.
