When reinstalling TomTom Home on a PC at the end of the setup the Wizard produces an error 'This file does not have an app associated with it ........'. The file in question is said to be TempTTALLink.lnk. Can provide a screenshot if necessary. The device is a TomTom Rider Model 4GD00 and I am using Windows 10. Tried a few times - same result. Anybody have any suggestions or is it time for a Garmin?

It's is not a TomTom HOME or a RIDER device issue. Mostly a problem related to Windows ® 10 OS.

On your PC to install or uninstall the software, you use an user account with administrator rights?
You could have UAC messages during installation.
