Please, could you extend the distance of the speed camera alarm. Now it is about 250 - 300 meters before the speed camera and that distance is today too small because of the new radar speed cameras. I propose that this distance could be chosen by the user in settings and should be at least 700 meters before the speed camera on the route.

Hi
@JerryK @Layedbackkev
Speed Cams
If you keep a check on the Traffic-bar... The device gives you a visual Warning of the next Fixed or Mobile Speed Camera many miles before you reach the camera
On the PNDs there's even more info if you set-up a 'Wide Traffic/Route Bar'For a general improvement using the Tomtom Speed Cam Database over the default settings
Always use a Computer voice...
Serena or Malcolm here in the UK
Also....
From the main screen... Tap (.... Menu) -> Setting -> Sounds & Warnings...
Set... 'Warning Type' to... Read Allowed... (Important... Needs a Computer Voice set in the Voices menu)
Speed Cameras & Hazards... Set to ON
The next 10 Setting ALL set to Always
The next 4 Settings ALL set to ON
In addition the the normal warning sound the device will now say....
'Fixed Camera'
'Mobile Hot Spot'
'Red-light Camera'
'Accident Black-spots
‘Spoken Traffic delays’

When I drive I always keep the voices on as I many times listen music when I drive. When one drives 100km or more or is in a hectic traffic one can’t keep the eye on phone screen. The voice alert is therefore needed for the speed cameras enough before. Did you got my point?0

Hi
@JerryKWhen I drive I always keep the voices on (Snip)
While the setting options on the Phone Apps are slightly different to the PNDs
On the Phone App you can still have a Warning Sound PLUS a Spoken description of the Speed camera types

Sorry, but your suggestion does not solve the problem and most of all your complicated settings make it even worse. I suggest you to take a course at Apple0
