Watch can’t find playlists anymore

I have recently changed the laptop that iTunes and my playlists are on. Previously it worked fine and I was able to update the watch when I created new or amended the playlists. But since moving to the new W10 laptop the watch can not find existing or new playlists.

    If using iTunes, check that iTunes is set to share libraries. You need to click the dropdown at the very top left and select Preferences. On the Advanced tab, make sure there is a check next to "Share iTunes Library XML with other applications".

    That was already set.

    Sussed it - had to export playlist as M3U file. Who knew? Sure I didn’t do that before but it works 👍🏻
