TomTom Start 60 doesn’t connect to pc/mac
I want to update the maps, but unfortunately the TomTom isn’t able to connect to a pc.
- when connected with the right cable, the TomTom start automatically. MyDrive connect doesn’t see it.
- Devicemanager doesn’t see it either. Manually connect via IP config doesnt work.
- Reset the TomTom isn’t a solution.
- Another cable neither.
One thing I’m facing is that whenever I take off the cable the battery is dead very fast. Could that be the issue for this problem?
I have had contact with the support but with the description above I had to pay €95 to send it over for repair. That’s to much.
Is there anyone who can help me?

On the rare occasions I have a problem with myDrive Connect
I Delete MyDrive Connect using the free version of Revo Uninstaller then Reinstall MyDrive Connect....

Thanks for your reply. Due to the Festive Season I haven't replied yet.
Unfortunately the answer you have given, didn't help me. I have tried this a couple of times with different uninstallers. Do you maybe have more tips? Could the battery be an issue?
