my tom tom premium x will not down load maps the screen asked down load cannot get menu or anything else brand new first time of down loading.
Have tom tom not got a phone number I can ring

Here is the customer Support number. Do not answer the questions but wait for an agent to answer.

Monday - Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
You could try the following first..
A Soft Reset. Ie Turn the unit on then when working Hold the ON/Off in for about 20 seconds plus until you hear the drumroll sound then let.the button go. The device will restart.
If that does not work then a Factory Reset
Tao Menu (4Dots)
Tap Settings
Tap System
Tap Reset Device.
This will delete all your data and return the unit to Out of the Box and you will have to set it up again with language, Wifi and TT account details etc..
If neither of those work then its Customer Support who you can advise what you ahem already tried.. They can then look at your account and any Log info they have to see if there is a problem they can resolve.
