    Straight forward instructions. Solved my problem of having "charging stations" icons all over my routes (I do not have an electric car). Thank You.

    Hi @jacques_oconnor

    Glad you are sorted.

    If you want to stop getting the updates for it you will have to contact Customer Support. There are no phone lines with so many at home and the Chat and Emaill facilities are very busy so I would wait some time until things settle down before asking that .

    Thank you so much, the charging stations were bothering me too. Perhaps in the future TomTom's setup should ask if one drives an electrical vehicle.

    This was very helpful, thanks!
    I downloaded the charging points info but didn't realize the map would constantly show many of those large and distracting "power plug" symbols, so I'm glad they are gone!

    Another thing on this is to ask why it keeps coming up on my device although I have switched it off on my updates.
    Switch my device back on and it keeps informing me the update is there!
    I have not got an electric car yet so why can't I switch this off?
    It feels it is forced on us.

    Hi
    @DJSheridan
    Welcome to the site....
    The only answer is....
    You don't tick the box to update for the Charging Stations....

    To stop the Charging Stations being displayed on the Driving Map....
    Tap 4Dot (.... Menu) --> Setting --> Appearance --> Show POI Lists on the Map....
    Set Charging Station to Hide.....
