Live Services - Availability or otherwise ?

For some odd reason I am unable to connect to Live Services.
I receive the message: Cannot connect to Live Services. Please try again later.
My subscription is valid until December 24th but for the last few days the connection to Live Services has not been possible.
I also notice that my connection status in 'Network' is disabled.
I don't know what is going on.
Does anybody have any ideas ?.

    I think the Support must sort your account or reactivate the Sim

    I have communicated with support, and they have instructed me as to what to do to fix the problem.
    Needless to say, it did not fix the problem.
    When problems arise, they are seldom fixed at the first time of asking.
    It usually takes two or three attempts before anyone understands the exact nature of the problem, and then another two or three attempts at repairing or recovering the device before the problem is solved.
    At least, that is the way it seems to be, to me.
