i cant seem to get my start to connect to any computer
the lead only charges to the device does not connect to computer
Assuming the cable is the one supplied with the device does the following help:-

There are Many Tomtom Start Models ???
The First generation Tomtom devices (NAV2 Devices) connect using Tomtom Home....
The 2nd & 3rd generation Tomtom devices (NAV3 & NAV4) connect using MyDrive Connect....
The Lateset generation Tomtom devices (NAV5 Wi-F) normally connect using Wi-Fi
But If your Wi-Fi is not available or is slow/unstable/unreliable see Option 2 how to connect using USB in the link above....
IMPORTANT be aware if Googling/Seaching for Tomtom sites
Several scam Tomtom sites have popped up recently make sure you are using a genuine Tomtom site....
