I wonder if the Legal Truck restrictions are relaxed in order to get a route and prevent a 'No Route Possible' error ???
The device is telling you, yes its found a route but the route not comply with your vehicle profile ???
Maybe its something similar to the Rider device 'Unpaved roads' compromise (See Below)

Tomtom Rider devices....
Reported Problem = 'Avoid on every route' + 'Unpaved roads' is Ignored....
I recall this as being a compromise to a 'No Route Possible' error
When the Thrill route option was introduced, in certain circumstances where a user had set 'Avoid on every route' + 'Unpaved roads', the device reported 'No Route possible'... When in fact there was a route possible but using 'Unpaved roads'
When is Tom tom going to fix the vehicle profile routing problem? Getting tired of it trying to route me 200 to 300 miles out of route to avoid certain sections of major interstates
I don't have a Rider Thrill option, and I have no Avoids set. None of my truck profile settings have changed, in fact ALL my settings are exactly as they were, and I never saw this message before the recent software update.

I have had the same problem with my saved routes since update, to.tom never fix anythng, yet charge a fortune for satnavs.
Using 6250
Last week it wanted me to do a 10 mile detour for a 1.5 mile trip then only picked up the route when Google Maps got me 800 yards away.
What the hell is happening with TomTom. Do we need to give them a few more hundered pounds on top for their flagship SatNav ?!
Even my office phone me up and ask where I'm going as they can see on the tracker that I've gone past some place which I want.
What is TomTom's UK telephone number to complain ?
