How to turn off all tracking except 24 hour heart rate

I've turned on tracking so that I can track my heart rate 24 hours a day for a few days.
But my trends and activities are starting to fill up with distance, active time, and steps.
I don't want this, as it's adding to my running distance totals for the week
I just to be able to measure my heart rate continuously throughout the day.
Can I just track my heart rate, and turn the rest of the steps/etc tracking off?

You cannot. In order to have HR tracking on you need to have step tracking on (you can do it the other way and have steps on and heart off). That is just the way it is and will not change since TT Sports went out of business two years ago and ceased all development and production.1
