Hi
It seems the map on mapshare reporter is much newer and better (more correct) than the one i have on my pnd, and even the one available on route.tomtom.com
what is happening ?
shouldn't we get the latest version of the map everywhere ?

The online maps are indeed much more up-to-date. That's because it takes a lot of time to process the maps to be distributed for the PNDs. Usually it takes about 6 to 9 months before the changes are in the PND maps after the report has been accepted. For the online maps, it usually takes only a week or so.0

what's the point of publishing a new map every 3 months if it takes 9 months to process
how serious is this ?0 -
can we have an official statement from tomtom?
is the delay normal ?0 -

Hi totobel2
Once an updated map is ready, we need to optimize it for our sat nav’s as well as split it up in more than 600 different map products that we offer our end consumers.
Currently, this still takes approximately three to six months depending on the anomaly. Hence these changes are made available for our sat nav users as part of the quarterly map update.
