the webste and GPS are horrible
there's no way to add POI categories
No Wall Paper
No Tech support
no contact e-mail
no contact face book
no phone numbers to a live person
unprofessional long delayed responses
no help from responses
limited voices
PAY for extra maps
No NJ Road trips
the menus are confusing
every thing I want to do is controlled by prompts for things that don't apply to me.
tags don't work
too many people use GPS to track not travel
and too many GPSs are for trucks or as apps
and there are only Two brands of GPS
I will make 100% no one ever buys Tomtom ever. I will never recommend it. Highly disappointed in the removal of the old website and all the changes from how it used to be.

I presume you are from the US as the model you refer to is listed on the US Tomtom website as Coming Soon.
If you scroll to the bottom of that webpage you can click on Contact Us and manuals and on Page 28 of the manual it tells you how to import POI files.
If you look on this page there is a Link to Videos and there you will find lots of videos on how to do things including how to import POI files.
The unit is sold with a single map and if you want any others you have to pay for them. If you had bought another model offered on the same page as your one you could have had world maps.
On this website is a list of all the TT customer support phone numbers.
Most of the other things you say are not available are especially if you just ask.
