Delete obsolete device from my products

Having taken and recorded the offer for an updated device to replace my 300 series TomTom I can't get rid of the retained information on the 300 series device. This would not matter except that when I try to sync to MyDrive on phone and GO5200 navigation device I get a message telling me that the 300 series is unsupported. I changed the log in password and the new one word fine on my phone but now my GO5200 tells me the email/password combination is incorrect and it will not log in.
TomTom support really is useless as they obviously rely on other users to provide support and I do hope one is out there who can help me with this
