Unknown Navcore Version error- Smart Media Connect
The map I have installed on my Smart Media Connect has expired.
So I bought a new map, Spain & Portugal - Order number: 408xxxxxx. I uploaded the new map to the SD card through Smart Media Connect. Then I inserted the SD card into the car and let it update. About 30 minutes later the update gave an error. He said that kind of map was not valid for that device. I pulled the SD card out of the car slot and went back to the computer. Now I have an error also in Smart Media Connect application. Gives the following message:
"Unknown Navcore Version
The system software on your equipment is not recognized by the current environment. Make sure you install the compatible version. "
Can Tomtom help me?
Thanks

I downloaded and applied to my broken satnav via usb stick in the car, the sd card gets updated by this and SURPRISE I get an upgrade to navcore version ending 8060 and SMART MEDIA CONNECT starts working again.
but this time I am smarter, backed up the sd card using rlink explorer via this link
