Getting ready...but nothing is happening?

Hello, I am trying to update my TomTom for the 1st time.
After a lot of hassle i managed to get to my drive and to a section that told me there were 3 updates. I clicked on the update but i has been getting ready for about an hour now and nothing is happening. Any idea if i am doing something wrong, or there is an issue? Thanks in advance

disconnect the device. do a drum reset by pressing the on off button for 20 seconds or more. connect again to the computer. try installing these updates 1 by 1 instead of all together.
