Why do I get 'Connection Lost' after a few minutes and then it appears to reconnect but not record?

When I connect Bandit to Phone (Android Samsung Galaxy J3) it connects fine and I can start recording. After a few minutes my phone shows 'Connection Lost' and then it appears to reconnect and show camera view on the phone.
However, when I connect to my laptop and download videos I find that there is only the few minutes up to 'Connection Lost'.
Is there a reason for this to be happening, and what can I do to be able to record for the duration of the battery or journey?
