Rider 2013 now redundant when using TT Home: what to do?

TomTom have just deleted the " Work with my device" function in TT Home....at least for my Navi.
Even though I have Windows 10 and everything else necessary on my PC.

So I cannot access my Rider 2013 to check routes for example that I have planned on my PC and uploaded as .itn routes.
TOM TOM Customer Service just say: yes, we've just made your Navi redundant. It's too old and there's no alternative.

What can I do please ? ( apart from the obvious reason TomTom have done this, i.e. to force me to buy a new one. )
Any ideas?
