I think I’ll shoot a video about Tomtom support and how it “helps” clients. And I’ll offer the company to watch this video on YouTube.

When was the last time that GPRS work on these devices. If it is over 3 years then you are out of luck as the SIM will have been permanently disabled :(

Lifetime means lifetime. On the box i dont see any information about 3 years. But i see lifetime edition.

And support can check this. When gprs works.... And reactivate sim cards.

I forgot to say. Before upgrading to nav4, in the menu "about" i see sim ID and IMEI. After update its lost.

Surely you didn't think the Tomtom 'Lifetime' meant your natural life ???
Tomtom FAQ... What does “lifetime” mean?
Lifetime is the useful life of the device, which means the period of time that TomTom continues to support your device with software updates, services, content or accessories. A device will have reached the end of its life when none of these are available any more. The useful life of the smartphone app means the period of time that TomTom continues to support the app with updates

    See... https://uk.support.tomtom.com/app/content/id/9/locale/en_gb

The Mobile Phones suppliers do the same if you haven't used the phone for a specified period time they turn the SIM off, there's no point in the network supporting redundant/none-used equipment

    Hi there @Turboulitka

Since you already tried the factory reset on your Trucker devices, can you please report this to the customer support? Please reply back them with the SIM ID & GPRS status error code (e.g XXXXX,0,0,0,14,X ) from your device on the same incident you opened with support and they'll be able to assist you further.

You can find this by going into Main Menu> Settings> System> About.

    Regards, lampard

    Hi @Turboulitka

The error message you mentioned above indicates that you're in Ukraine and we've no coverage for TomTom Traffic in there. See the link here about the list of countries in which we cover the Traffic & Speed Camera's: TomTom services coverage

Also I see that you received an update from support about the same, please reply back to them if there're anymore questions.

    cheers, lampard

I want to say thank you so much. You solved the problem, but the support service could not. Thank you again. You are a super specialist. :)

    Lampard, hi.
And one more question. Ok, services in Ukraine dont work.
But in menu "about" I dont see SIM ID and IMEI....
    Is this normal or not.
These menu items will appear in the coverage area.

    Hello all tomtom!

Why am I asking you so much. Because now a LOT of drivers from Ukraine work in Europe. And a lot of them buy top models by Tomtom (6000, 6200, 6250) And I think that Tomtom should know about such situations with such problems. People pay a lot of money and should receive the right support and quality devices.

From all truck drivers from Ukraine.

    Hi
    @Turboulitka

Looking at the Image in you last post... Are you connected to your PC using a USB Cable with MyDrive Connect Running on your PC

If Yes the USB Connection will take priority over the GPRS Connection
