Fully charge the unit for at least 2 hours or if you can do the following with a good power source connected then even better.
Take the unit outside well away from Buildings and Trees with a clear view of the Sky all around. Turn the unit on and when working hold the ON/OFF button down for about 20 seconds plus until you hear the Drumroll Sound and then let the button go. The unit will restart.
Now create a route on the unit and then leave it unmoved where it is for about 30 minutes plus to see if it finds the Sats. It has been noticed that the units tend to find the Sats quicker if the unit is left sat on a Car roof.
Once the unit has found the Sats it should find them quicker next time.
