    Hi
    @Basile

Have you got a back-Up Map file in Tomtom Home
Or a Map Back-Up on your Computer

The only way is if you have an old map stored on your computer. Maps are locked to the device so you cannot (legitimately) get one from somewhere else.

    Hello,
I do not have any stored. I deleted without storing first.
Does TomTom provide one? To select from a list?
The one it tries to download is greater than the memory's capacity and get an error message.
    Thank you,
    Basile

    Hi

Maybe @VikramK or @lampard the Forum Moderators can reactivate the map for you

    Hi @Basile

USA, Canada & Mexico - Lifetime Map Update Service is active on your device.

Activating an old map will not help because that will not be offered, the reason being that you already have an upgraded version installed.

    Thank you,
    Vikram :)

    Hi Vikram,
No, the latest version cannot be installed because I need more free space.
When I click "Update and Install" I get "You need to free up space:: 1387.3 MB Selected: 322.6 MB. Some New Items do fit on your device." Am I doing something wrong? The TomTomXXL does pass the first screen. It stays there even if I reboot holding the switch.
    Thank you,
    Basile

Can your device handle a sd card? If so, get a 8 or 16 gb sd card from a reliable company like SanDisk.
