I'm getting "no Route Possible" can anyone help?

My GO LIVE 1005 stopped seeing it's SIM card so could not connect to the Live Traffic service I pay for.... so I reset the device to factory settings and it solved the problem of it not being able to connect to the network. I have connected to Mt Drive Connect and updated the device to the latest maps etc BUT I now get "No Route Possible" every time I try to navigate anywhere.
The device is seeing the map and I can find and see locations on the map using the view map menu option.

Thanks Roadrider. Recovery mode seems to have sorted the issue.

Do you have a GPS fix and is it showing the correct location on the screen?

If the device for example thinks is in the middle of the ocean there is no Route Possible.

RoadRider, yes it does have GPX fix. I can do a journey and the TomTom knows where it is all the way. The only thing that is (seems to be) not functioning is the route planning.

I think when I did the reset it removed a software update.... so I THINK, the software version on the device might not be compatible with the newest maps? MyDrive Connect is not offering me a device software update though.
Is there a way to force a device software update?

    Hi
    @ColinColin

    NAV3 GO LIVE 1005....
On the screen where you enter your city/postcode
Screen top right is a Flag Icon... (Should be the UK Union Flag)

    Tap the Flag Icon
Type Un or as much of the countries name ie... United Kingdom to put the UK map Icon at the top of the list
    Tap the UK Flag Icon
Now you can enter your UK Address
The UK map will now be the default Map

If you plan a trip to another Country you will have to change the Map as above to suit
Don't forget to switch back to the UK Map on your return
