Lifetime traffic says expired

I purchased a Trucker 620 back in mid May. It says it has lifetime traffic, but it no longer works. It says it expired on May 25th. What gives? Do I have to purchase a traffic subscription? And navigating TomTom for answers isn't the most user friendly.

    Wow. I didn't expect it to be fixed without talking to someone. Well it was working for a few minutes. Now it is saying Service unavailable. Please try again later.
