Via 125 camera alerts no longer working despite still having a live subscription

I have a Via 125 which Tom Tom are no longer supporting however, my existing subscription runs out in December 2019, Tom tom have said my live services will work perfectly until my subscription runs out, but my camera alerts are no longer working why??? I have paid fora service which Tom Tom are not providing. I have double-checked my settings and camera alerts are turned, I have also run my Via at the same time as my husband's TomTom GO 5200, his works perfectly but mine does not.

Try a Soft Reset
Turn the Via 125 on and when it is working hold the ON/Off button down for about 20 seconds until you hear the Drumroll sound and then let the button go. The unit will restart and hopefully cameras might then work. If that does not work then try a Factory Reset which I think you will find in Settings and on your unit I think you can select a Reset without losing your data.

Thanks Doug, the soft reset didn't work but the factory reset did and yes there were 2 options, I did the one without losing my data. Now fingers crossed hopefully I won't have to keep uninstalling and reinstalling my drive connect every 2 or 3 times after doing updates to get the updates to work.
