Smart 25 up to date today. On the 'navigate to:' menu, I tap 'Address', then the tomtom asks for 'city/code'. I start to enter a postcode which start CM7. I tap 'C' and it greys out every letter except E, U, I, O, A & H.
Does anyone know what's going on?
Thank you, John

HI @johnsmithnewyork
Have a look on page 37 of the Start 25 Manual for details on how to do a Factory Reset and what happens as a result

What you have described is called the Soft Reset and you should let go of the button when you hear the drumroll sound and before you see the white writing.

Hi @johnsmithnewyork
Try a reset on the device.and see if that cures it. Think on those models there is an option to reset without losing data.

Thanks for the reply. I tried resetting (hold the power button until it reboots, shows code and you press the button 3 times) but when it restarted, the letters are still greyed out.0

Hi @johnsmithnewyork
Pleased to hear it. The Soft Reset is useful if you do it after you have done any updates or added any maps etc as it sorts out the files.
