buyers beware, you can buy lifetime maps, unfortunately , now they said they do not not support our device anymore, buy can give us a deal, really, not likely to happen, very disappointed
When calling....
Tomtom are monitoring Eol support by an Auto Response System
When prompted DO NOT provide your Tomtom model information, wait for a live agent to respond
I too have a device which states it has lifetime maps. It is about four years old now and is no longer supported. Before anyone says this is not correct; I have this information from TomTom themselves. Very disappointed and will never go near any of their products again.
If you have bought a Tomtom unit which has been sold with Lifetime maps then you should have been told that the lifetime map updates are still valid as confirmed by @VikramK of Tomtom here.
What model have you got. Whilst they may not sell any new maps or live services once the current subscription has expired or issue any new software for your unit if it has been declared obsolete they should still be offering lifetime Map updates.
