When you stop recording you have to name the recorded track.
After this your track is visible in MyRoutes on your Rider and can be exported.

Personally I prefer to record my tracklogs with the MyRoute App App. Every recorded track is automatically uploaded to the cloud. No hassle with SD-cards or USB cables.
(and i already have my phone with me for traffic information)
Hopefully TomTom can add a feature to automatically upload tracklogs to MyDrive.6

Although the manuals says Enter a name for your track OR you can leave it at the suggest date-time combination, I'll give it a try.
