Does the week rollover GPS issue stop my START 20 from working?

I used my satnav today for the first time in weeks. At first I noticed that the time was always 12 noon. I was able to use it a few times even though the time was wrong. Now it is keeps displaying Waiting for a valid GPS signal.

    Yes, my device is a Start 20.

    I did the following on my Windows 10 laptop
    a) uninstalled existing TomTomMyDrive Connect.
    b) downloaded and installed latestTomTomMyDrive Connect.
    c) connected my device to my laptop via USB port
    d) selected NavCore and QuickGPSfix updates which updated the Start 20 device

    After the updates the device is now working fine.
