Can you please do something with your maps.
Try navigate to :
771 Chester Road
Birmingham
B37 6QS
And then compare where you are to the real place (use postcode, or other map service like Google maps) !!!!!!! 6.5 miles away !!!! And that is in the city. So including traffic it could be an hour away !!!!!!
I know numbers are not perfectly ok on your maps but there should be a warning message that you are not gonna get in correct postcode if using this door number ...
Really 5 miles away in the straight line ...
Really really bad

Hi @BartoszB
I have tried this on 2 current PND models with the latest maps and the Postcode is indicated as on the Major Roundabout within 200 yards of the Position the Post code shows on Google Earth.
In the new Mobile Navigator App the Postcode centres 6 houses away from the same Google Earth position
What Tomtom unit are you using and what map version have you on it.

It is TomTom go5000, problem is when you put street number in.. postcode is recognised as should but once 771number added it takes you to Erdington - 6miles away

Surly it shouldn't be taking you to the one which is 6miles away no matter what. Any warning message would help. Like just for example " the door number you entered is not recognised at the postcode used" not just navigate to totally wrong place without any warning0

It would appear that if you input the address 771 Chester street it does not recognise that at the same place as the postcode but at the other address only.0

The problem is that when you enter the correct postcode (press on correct street name) and then you add number - you are under impression it will take you to correct place not 6 miles away compared to if you don't put the number at all (supposed to be other way around (0
