Is there a way to update without MyConnect for Chromebook?

I'm traveling cross country and didn't realize parents TomTom was not updated. Don't have a laptop on the trip; only my Chromebook. Can't use the TomTom because can't get a satellite signal HELP!!!

Could you try this for the sat signal.
Make sure the TT is well charged, circa 2 hours preferably, then go outside well away from buildings and trees.
Now do.a Soft reset.ie Turn the unit on then when working hold the ON/OFF button down for about 20 secs or so until you hear the Drumroll sound then let the button go.
Now when the unit is working again create a route on it then leave the TT unit in the open with a clear view of the sky for 30 minutes or so and see if it now locks onto the Sats. It has been found that if you can leave it on a car roof whilst it is doing this it seems to find the sats quicker. Just don't leave it out of your sight. Once it has locked on it should be quicker the next time.
Hope that works whilst you resolve your PC problem.
