Unable to connect device to phone

Hi, I have a tomtom runner 3 I just did a restore too but when I go to associate the phone it appears to me for a second the code to associate the clock and suddenly it returns to the main menu. When the code appears, the phone sees the disastrous. How can I solve it? With the cable to the PC I can do everything instead. thank you

    I solved the problem by removing the device from the phone as you indicated. Thank you
