Considering TOMTOM Premium, do you get world updates for maps?

Hi Im looking at upgrading to new Premium from a GO5100, I am looking for world updates on maps especially USA & Canada. Is it possible to get live traffic on a map for USA & Canada, TIA

    Hi @Alimac

    Yes the world maps do get updates however Traffic is restricted to the region in which the unit is purchased. You cannot purchase traffic.for other regions to work on the unit..

    Thanks Doug, so things have changed with the world maps since i bought my separate USA one a few years back
