Impossible to change address from USA to UK on personal account page?

The site is getting really difficult to use. I`ve tried changing my account to UK but no, will not let me. I therefore cannot purchase anything on the UK site as I am registered in the USA. Tried contacting support--not a chance . Any help?

    As far as I'm aware it's not possible... You have to set up a new Account
    When you first set-up your account (NAV5 Wi-Fi Devices) it shows the Countries Flag for the A/C location and warns "Used for invoices and promotions. Cannot be changed later"
    I assume the above also applies to the earlier NAV4 Devices

    Hi mickey1071

    Not possible to change the channel - USA to Europe(UK).

    As YamFazMan suggested, it would be a better option to create a new account.

    Regards
    Vikram :)

    Hi
    @mickey1071

    If you need to save your existing MyPlaces
    Many users have asked for the facility to backup their MyPlaces to a PC
    The MyDrive Route planner allows you to download your data from the Tomtom Cloud

    The file looks like unusable Gobbledegook, the MyPlaces can be found in the file

    You`d think with an internationally renowned company that changing your account from one country to another would be a piece of cake! Maybe TomTom needs a decent IT team!

    Hi
    @mickey1071

    Back when it was one Device one Account and you needed multiple accounts requiring multiple email addresses
    You could use the same password across all the devices
    Tomtom Customer Care ONLY Customer Care were able to change your location

    I think it changed, when they changed MYDrive Connect to use up to ten devices on one email address and the accounts linked by device serial number (I maintain eight devices)

    I guess its also a lot more difficult/impossible with companies now having to comply with GDPR regulation
