My Drive Connect not working?!

Hi, i have just purchased a brand new TomTom Start 52 . I am trying to register the device on MDC but it wont find it and i have tried reinstalling several times and have done a reset of the device too....is my machine faulty and do i need to return it? or is there something else i need to try....thanks (pc is windows 7...previous my home worked fine )

    hi, tried all this but still not working....if i cant update the device then theres no point keeping it..shame.

    Firstly try Logging OUT of MyDrive Connect (Screen Top Right)
    Clear your browsers cache (Optional, but I find it really does help)
    Log back in again with your Credentials... Simple but it has worked for many users

    If you're using a Windows PC... Delete MyDrive Connect using the free version of Revo Uninstaller
    If you're using a Mac... Surely there must be a Deep Clean Un-installer Program available for a Mac ???
    Download & install the free version of Revo Uninstaller
    Here...https://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_download.html
    Revo first uninstalls the Program... Then scans and removes all of the left over files a normal uninstall leaves behind

    (1)... Uninstall MyDrive Connect Using the Revo Uninstaller
    (2)... Clear your browsers cache (Optional, but I find it really does help)
    (3)... Restart your PC (Not Turn Off & Turn On again)
    Reinstall MyDrive Connnect (Without your device connected)
    Connect & Turn on your device... Login to MyDrive Connect

    Ok i will try this again...i have managed to register and update from a pc at work today so it does work but not on my all in 1 pc for some reason...
