Transfer of POI s to GO Camper: file conversion

I want to put some POIs from IOverlander on my TomTom GO Camper. It was going to be easy enough, I thought; just convert (say) the GPX files, one of the download options, to OV2, put them on a micro SD card and thus find the POI list in My Places.
But I've spent a long time so far and have got nowhere. I can't manage the conversion. Would so much appreciate some help, an A-B-C explanation of how I might do this.
