Downloading updates

I have a Via 135 serial number BPxxxxGxxxx62 which I bought with lifetime updates. Several times in the past I have downloaded new maps. Recently I have tried to update my maps with no result. I start TomTom connect, it tells me there are three items to download. I select all three and press the button to start. I get the message getting ready and then after a few minutes a message that all the servers are busy and try again. Needless to say I am then in a loop and just try again and again to download the updates without success. I have tried to download the new TomTom connect but it makes no difference. Now I know you are very keen to sell me a new Sat Nav system, is this policy to push me away from my old system?
