I have data on a second hand watch and I can't add it to my account

I don't want to lose my data on the watch, how do i overcome this? It's telling me the only thing to do is reset the watch...but surely I'll lose the data? Help!

    If you have synced after each use (which you should be doing) there is no data on the watch. All you see under History is summary data for the last 10 activities. The only way yo register the watch is to do a factory reset. And if it a used watch you should have done a factory reset initially yo clear out the previous owner's information.
