Daily distance counter will not stop!

I generally use the daily distance counter (steps or kilometres) on my TomTom spark as I find the GPS setting too slow to conect. However, for the past 3 days, the counter will not stop at the end of the day so that I now have a 3 day cumulative count instead of it resetting to 0 overnight! I'm not techy and I've no idea what to do as this is the first time I've ever had the problem! Any suggestions very welcome.

    If you are syncing every three days at a minimum GPS should be very fast. It caches the satellite locations for easy access. The distance counter in the activity tracker is going to be very inaccurate as it is based on step counts and a presumed stride length. Do a factory reset to reset the watch and start syncing regularly to speed up GPS.
