Why my VIA 62 takes me off my programmed Route

I have programmed a Route into MY ROUTES. I need this for work purposes.
Please explain why the Tom Tom takes me off route, (on to a scenic tour), then runs me back on Route. This has me liable for damages, so please be careful in your answer, because I am am going to refer this back to you.
I have video evidence of this, I ran the same route after I dropped the people off, and it took me on the same OFF route.

Never trust any navigation product blindly. You’ve to be careful. It’s your responsibility. Maps may have errors, and the routing algorithms may not guide you as you expect.
Usually I design my routes mile by mile to ensure that I will not have any unpleasant surprises.
Also be sure that he route settings suits you...
