My GO 40 has finally bitten the dust. I have been offered a used IQ XL to tide me over. My questions are: can I register a used device onto my My Drive Connect account? If so, is the IQ XL updateable?

Some of those models are obsolete see below. As a result they are no longer supported by Tomtom. They have limited internal memory and no ability to add extra memory.
